Source hierarchy
Review standard
Public reference pages are reviewed against primary sources before they are marked as source-verified. When the page depends on a regulation, ACS, AIM paragraph, or FAA handbook section, the public page should make that source path visible.
- 01Pin each regulatory or FAA-training claim to a primary FAA, eCFR, AIM, ACS, or handbook source before it is promoted into a public page.
- 02Show a visible source-review line on source-verified pages, including the last reviewed date and the primary source link.
- 03Keep generated lesson or practice material out of public source text unless it has been checked against the underlying FAA reference.
- 04Update dateModified, lastReviewed, citations, and sitemap lastmod only when the source-backed page content has actually changed.
Operational limitation
GroundScholar content is for study, chair-flying, exam preparation, and reference review. Always verify the current FAR/AIM, FAA handbooks, aircraft flight manual, airport publications, weather products, NOTAMs, and instructor guidance before any real flight.
